Get Social
FIRST, a Word of CAUTION: You are not a TED Talks speaker until your video is posted to YouTube (around the end of the year). Please do not post about your “TED Talk” until given the green light (using that language). You cannot post ANY videos of your talk until YouTube is up. No practice rounds, sneak peeks, no stage snippets in January, stay away from ALL videos.
You can post about how excited you are to share your big idea on the TEDxSpokane stage! You can ask your networks to join you or support you by attending the event or sponsoring. You can post a photo of you and your coach or fellow speakers getting together to craft your TEDxSpokane talk. Please post about how exciting the opportunity to join the TEDxSpokane line up is. Etc. Using the language “TEDxSpokane” must be used, please do not use “TED” as a stand alone.
When posting, please tag and mention TEDxSpokane. Please make sure to note you are participating in TEDxSpokane as a speaker NOT TED Talks. There is a difference at this point. As long as you’re tagging TEDxSpokane anywhere you want to say “TED Talks” you should be golden (and no videos).
